A little bit about me ~

My name is Ava Famularo, and I'm a Senior at Byron Nelson High School. I am 17 years old, and I am a Type 1 Diabetic.

 

I am currently involved in two Choirs (A cappella & Vox Somnio), as well as, Musicals, the 2020 -2021 Texas Region Mixed Choir, National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, Drama Club and Personal Photography.

 

I have also been apart of the Culinary Arts and Hospitality Academy, 2019-2020 Texas Region Woman's Choir, Betty Lynn Buckley's 2019 Musical Theatre Awards, Lynx Crew, French I & II, as well as the CTE Ambassador Program. I’ve also participated multiple times in our school’s annual musicals, such as: The Drowsy Chaperone (ensemble), Beauty and the Beast (Silly Girl), Little Women (Clarissa) & Godspell (Peggy & Sonia).

Throughout my high school career, I've been able to grow in the realm of fine arts and want to pursue that in College! I am majoring in Communications in broadcasting/digital media at Dallas Baptist University.

My goal is to work at any Disney Park or Cruise ship as a musical performer, Social Media Ambassador or Photographer. While hopefully working for Disney, I want to travel and photograph the world we live in and the people around us. I have learned to use Canon cameras, as well as Drones, which has added to my skills. I also love to create videos and have even started my own Youtube channel to showcase what I've created.

Being able to photograph as many moments as possible for others brings me such joy and I can’t wait to see what the future will have to offer me.
